People who need additional help with their daily living activities and want to stay at home rather than be institutionalized or live with relatives. In other cases, it could be people whose family caregiver needs a respite or time off from their care giving responsibilities.


We bill on an hourly basis most of the time. The hours required to properly care for your loved one will be determined on the initial assessment interview and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Please contact us to learn more about our pricing.


Unfortnately not at this time.


Unfortunately not. Medicare only covers acute skilled care, usually after a hospital stay. We can work in conjunction with your Medicare provider to ensure your loved one is receiving the appropriate amount of care.


Most of the time, our services will cost less than those of assisted-living facilities or nursing homes. We can tailor a schedule specifically to meet the needs of our clients – so you are only paying for what you need.


No. We do not provide care services to clients who temporary or permanent home include hospitals, nursing homes , hospice or other health care facilities


Yes, we operate under the requirements of the law and are appropriately licensed based on the state of Georgia and local regulations.


All of our caregivers are carefully interviewed and screened prior to becoming employees of CarePoint Home Care and before being assigned to provide care for your loved ones. Please see our Caregiver page for more detailed information.


Yes, CarePoint Home Care and its caregivers are covered by professional liability insurance, theft bonds, and worker’s compensation insurance. Our caregivers meet or exceed all state requirements for caregiver training, skills, medical clearance, insurance and criminal background clearance.


That depends on your schedule. We will meet with you for an initial interview to assess your needs. After we fully understand what you are looking for, we can place a caregiver within a very short period of time. We are continuously interviewing and qualifying trained caregivers to ensure we can meet your particular needs. Please see Our Process page for a step-by-step overview.


We have a continuous supply of excellent, caring caregivers that are ready on a moment's notice in case of sickness or emergency. We certainly receive advanced notice of any vacation requests, so that is not usually an issue.  We guarantee that a caregiver will be present for every scheduled shift, every time. Of course. Part of our service is being able to match the right caregiver with the personality of your loved one. We cover this topic during the initial interview so we can get a head start on selecting the right caregiver. It is our goal to build positive, lasting relationships!


All of our caregivers are employees of CarePoint Home Care. We simply invoice you for the services rendered and we take care of paying the caregivers, along with the taxes, insurance, and other administrative requirements.


CarePoint Home Care is responsive to your needs 24/7.  After hours calls are delivered to a designated “On Call” CarePoint Home Care  employee for immediate attention.


With CarePoint Home Care, you are free to cancel at any time. An emergency scheduling fee of $20 is assessed if 24 hr. cancellation notice is not provided to the agency.


CarePoint Home Care  accepts personal checks, VISA, MASTERCARD, as well as ACH automatic payment plans.
